You will work as a mechanical design engineer in our Hardware development department in Duisburg/Germany as part of a dedicated team to develop and enhance our V93000 semiconductor test system.

To meet the permanently increasing test challenges of modern semiconductors we continuously enhance our existing platform with new Hardware modules. In your new job, you will design complex mechanical components and assemblies for our testers. Close cooperation with our electrical engineers as well as with procurement and production engineers is essential.
You will explore new state of the art manufacturing possibilities and strongly interact with our suppliers and customers.

Ihr Profil

University degree in mechanical engineering or similar
Professional experience in using a 3D CAD tools. (Preferably this would be with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling or Siemens NX)
Knowledge of modern manufacturing capabilities and some experience to create mechanical design studies and prototypes (incl. milling, turning, 3D-printing)
Knowledge of methods for process-optimization (FMEA, DFx, Simulation)
Good team and communication skills, cross-functional, cross cultural and across hierarchy levels
Basic knowledge and experience with Project management techniques
Good Team player with a practical attitude
