Be part of our team:
As a member of our laboratory team, you will support and shape the development of innovative biopharmaceuticals and be responsible for conducting experiments within the biology department with a focus on cell culture. You will use a variety of different expression and cell culture techniques and work in a highly interdisciplinary environment with the opportunity to learn and adopt new technologies. You will achieve this by using highly modern laboratory equipment for carrying out cell biological work and assays. During your work, you will also be involved in project and lab management and closely interact with our chemistry and analytic groups.
A wide range of laboratory activities to generate and characterize novel ADC drug candidates, including functional cell-based assays, recombinant antibody expression in mammalian cell culture, protein purification by chromatography methods, and antibody characterization Routine cell culture work with immortalized cancer cell lines, suspension cultures, and primary immune cells Expression, purification and characterization of recombinant proteins Planning, conducting and analysis of drug discovery experiments. Accurate documentation of daily lab work in an electronic lab journal Presentation of results within the group and in internal meetings Routine lab works, maintaining lab equipment and general lab organization
What you bring
Master of Science (Life Sciences) BTA / MTLA / biology laboratory technician with 2+ years of industry or academic research experience Experience with cell culture and general lab work Experience in culturing and characterizing immortalized (cancer) cell lines, culturing adherent and suspension cells, and functional cell-based assays First relevant experience in at least one of the following: FACS/flow cytometry, ELISA, SDS-PAGE/Western Blotting, plasmid Preps, transformation of E.coli High level of commitment, sense of responsibility and capability to work in a team. High motivation to learn new techniques and methods Advanced computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office) and basics in data and statistical analysis software (e.g. Prism GraphPad) Good proficiency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
