Join a team in HW development to characterize and validate ASICs and make sure that they meet requirements and perform to their specifications in mass production environments. You contribute to the development of high-quality parts and thoroughly verified solutions for our instruments and ultimately to our customers. Therefore, you develop and align test plans and develop test solutions of both HW and SW for the Advantest V93000 Semiconductor Test System including handlers. The ASICs to be validated range from analog, RF, power and high-speed digital.
Develop test solutions including hardware - electrical and mechanical - and software for devices in a wide range of applications in large high-speed digital, analog, RF and power ICs segments
Responsible for the design, scoping, and technical validity of the solution to achieve the team's business objectives
Work with the team in RD and other functions like production to extract requirements
Characterize both internally and externally developed ASICs of all types, digital, mixed-signal, RF and analog with respect to functionality and performance. Focus is analog/mixed-signal
Support production implementation and execution of the developed test solutions
Prepare test programs for data analysis together with the cross-functional team
Provide expertise on topics such as: load board design for testing on the V93000, program development, solution implementation, best practice, test time reduction, and program conversions
Create project plans for the projects and track project completion. Identify resources required to deliver solutions, track and manage the committed deliverables
Keep technical peers informed of new and emerging test-technologies
Ihr Profil
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Computer Science or equivalent with over 5 years semiconductor test experience
Strong device and test program writing and debugging skills
Strong knowledge of Analog- and Mixed-Signal device testing
Demonstrated experience with Java programming, Linux knowledge
Ability to quickly pick up Java test program development with high level APIs
Perl or Python scripting knowledge
Project leading experience is preferred
Knowledge of RF or power device test methodologies is a plus
Knowledge in Data Analysis is a plus
Knowledge and experiences on V93000 platform are plus
V93000 SmarTest 8 and Smart RDI experiences are plus
Ability to work in a fast paced, project oriented, team environment
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are appreciated
